About us

Leaving your home in the hands of others is not always easy (we rent out our own place, so we get it), so we try to live by the golden rule of “do unto others.” We have the energy, honesty, and enthusiasm to care for your home and pets in precisely the manner you expect. Combined, we’ve housesat over 20 times (see some of our reviews here), and strive to be attuned to the varying needs of each home, pet, and person.

Meggan grew up on a farm in North Georgia and was a professional pet boarder in Los Angeles for over five years, so has lots of experience with different breeds and personalities. Josh grew up with big dogs, lots of cats, a rabbit (and a fish!), and has a knack with love farm animals—especially horses. He’s truly a cat whisperer and was likely a veterinaian in a past life.

We’re both very comfortable dealing with sick pets and large animals. We also understand the importance of taking care of your home in exactly the manner you request. Consistent caretaking measures are so important for both peace of mind and our animal friends.

It’s impossible to measure how amazing life has been as a result of trying above all to bring trust and positivity to our experiences, and we hope to continue that trend with all our future sits. Since we place the most emphasis on the symbiosis of exchange (you get the assurance of well-loved pets and a clean + protected home; we get to love said pets and live somewhere new for a while), we charge only an amount that covers our travel and a reasonable per diem.
